"Mummy, I can see better now"

At the back end of 2015, Alex was referred to the hospital for his eyes following a check up at the opticians. We had noticed that Alex had a slight turn in his left eye and that he was struggling to see on the left side.
After seeing the optometrist at the health centre, Alex was referred to an optician to have more eye tests. Specsavers were brilliant with him and he was so good for all of the tests they did. We were there for just over an hour and a half.
The results of the tests showed that Alex has a weak left eye and needs glasses.
Alex has taken well to wearing glasses and loves showing them off to friends and family. He chose two pairs - A Lightning McQueen pair and a Spiderman pair.
Once we collected the glasses, as we left the shop he said "Mummy I can see better now" It melted my heart. As a parent all you want is for your child/children to be well and happy. We are so blessed to have such a lovely boy who is surprising us day by day.

Here he is wearing his Lightning McQueen glasses
