A New Chapter - Leeds to Stoke

Well the day came for us to make the journey from Leeds to Stoke,  Alex had already gone down on 2nd August and then on the 12th August it was my turn. Mark followed on 22nd August. We are so thankful to the missionaries from Leeds and also from Stoke who helped with the move. Also a big thanks to family and friends who helped. It was a scorcher of a day which both helped and hindered with the move. We are looking forward to seeing what lies ahead for us as a family.

LEEDS

Everyone worked really hard up in Leeds and loaded the van in record time. My brother has an injury so wasn't allowed to lift anything so he enjoyed having the power to just stand there and dish out the orders to everyone else.

Once I arrived down in Stoke we had to wait for the van to arrive as they took the wrong turning somehow and were delayed so my dad and the missionaries made the most of their spare time and caught some rays in our new chairs and chilled. Once the van arrived then some things were unloaded at my parents and then it was onto where we are storing our things.

It was a stressful, busy day and we really appreciate all the help that we received.
