CONKER HUNTING
We had a lot of fun hunting for conkers after school. Alex was fascinated when he found one unopened and he had fun standing on it to open it. He loves the outdoors so conker hunting was perfect for him.
Alex loves doing crafty things so he has really enjoyed making things for Halloween. We had fun carving a pumpkin - he enjoyed watching me draw on the pumpkin and carve it. He wasn't too keen on scooping out the inside though. We went to a trunk or treat at church which Alex enjoyed. He especially like visiting the cars to get his sweets. After the trunk or treat outside, there were games and food inside the church. We had fun making a gingerbread house.
We went around to Marks parents for a bonfire and fireworks night with family. Alex thought the fireworks were great and loved them. He really enjoyed the sparklers too. He doesn't usually want to wear his gloves but because he wanted a sparkler, he happily put his gloves on.
We loved doing things together over the past month. Its helped to bring us closer as a family unit and watching Alex's little face light up made it even more wonderful.
