Alexander is blessed - February 6th 2011

What a wonderful day it was, despite Alex being a little under the weather. There were a lot of family and friends there from all different areas.
In the blessing circle there were the following:

Mark Morrell (Daddy)

Ian Mullin (Grandpa)

Jeff Morrell (Grandad)

George Winter

Matt Gardiner

Chris Jackson.

 

The blessing itself was lovely. You could feel the spirit so strong in the room and Alex was so peaceful and relaxed during the actual blessing, but as soon as the blessing prayer ended, he began to get upset and unsettled again.

 

 

Below is a picture of Alex in the blessing gown made out of part of my mums wedding dress that was also worn by myself and my brother at our blessings. Alex didn't wear it on the day as he was under the weather but we had a few photos taken of him in the gown during the next couple of days after the blessing.
